Okay, how fitting is it that I picked James Scott Bell's "Plot & Structure" to recommend this week when I'm in that plotting part of my book. No, I don't do outlines or such, but with this wip, when I'm down to the HOURS in my timeline, I'm HAVING to do a rough sketch, at least here in the beginning. Had to revise my scene index, to include the actual time of day. WHEW....but, I'm getting there.

I feel for you, girlfriend. Am going to have to discipline myself to put down some kind of an outline, no matter how sketchy, in order not to get lost. UGH!!
Keep it up, girlfriend. It's gonna be a great book!
Good for you! I need some of your motivation. Feeling sluggish today.

Motivation? Hmmm...I seem to be lacking. I have one more scene to finish chapter 5, but just can't get "into" it! SIGH
Jim's book is awesome! I like that it has stuff that is helpful to writers who think they know everything. I've written 30 or so books and still learn from it every time I read it.
My two favorite writing books? MAASS' "writing the breakout novel workbook" and James Scott Bell's "plot & structure". Of course, I have other favorites....I'll be getting to them shortly! :)
