Book Reviews

From Lena Nelson Dooley, multi-published author.....

On BAYOU CORRUPTION:
This second book in the Louisiana bayou series by Robin Caroll didn't come soon enough for me. I could hardly wait to read about the three sisters and the men in their lives. The characters are believable, the emotions deep, the suspense heart-thumping. And the way Robin puts words together is artistic, bordering on lyrical. I had a hard time putting the book down.

Now to get my hands on the next one! I'll read every book written by this wonderful author. You won't want to miss one either.

On BAYOU JUDGMENT:
When I received this book, I expected to be reading about Tara, the third sister, but instead, it's about Luc's sister. As with the other two books by Robin Caroll, I loved this. She writes a tight story painted with authenticity. The setting is skillfully woven into the story to give readers enough glimpses to allow them to picture everything.
I love the characters and the suspense is spine-chilling. A masterful job from a very good author.

I haven't read this one yet, but I loved Bayou Justice. Looks like my to be read pile will have to grow by another book.
