Let's Talk About Accountability!

In my upcoming release, To Write a Wrong: A Justice Seekers Novel, one character made excuses for another and didn't hold him accountable for his own actions.

Accountability...wow, that's a big one. What does the word mean to you?

To me being accountable means I'll do what is expected of me. At work I'll treat my customers with respect and give them the best care I can.

I've noticed that when I expect others to do their job, as in show up on time or quit talking when a customer shows up or don't text or post on FB while the owner is paying you to do a specific job, others don't appreciate me holding them accountable. If the owner's not there and I'm in charge I can't let me or the others slack off. I've discovered nobody likes to be held accountable, and I'm pretty easy-going.
I think that may be way more than you asked for.
I look forward to reading your new book!

Hey Jennifer,
I like your answer! Much more concise than mine.
